Gamma Compliance Solutions (GCS) was founded in 2000 with a focus on OSHA compliance in healthcare. The aim was to take the guesswork out of the compliance process by developing and providing easy-to-use, do-it-yourself compliance solutions coupled with turnkey training programs and documentation templates. Needless to say, this model was a far cry from the OSHA solutions of the time, which usually involved an OSHA trainer coming to a practice, shutting down operations for a day to conduct training and walkthroughs. This presented scheduling difficulty while negatively impacting business operations and high cost. “Our on-demand support for implementing their own compliance programs was a new and valuable approach for healthcare providers,” states Jerry T Kappil, the Sales Operations Manager, GCS.

Due to this capability of solving a long-standing healthcare industry problem, GCS witnessed its healthcare client base growing rapidly from the get-go. In response, the company strategically introduced dental and veterinary solutions as well as HIPAA compliance programs as a part of its offerings. GCS has recently transformed its desktop training programs into dynamic online training courses following instructional design best practices. This latest addition to its portfolio offers a modern training solution to clients and is accessible 24/7 on any device. More importantly, practices can further access subscription updates regarding the ever-changing regulatory guidelines while benefiting from its robust advanced management capabilities using GCS’s Learning Management System (LMS).

With every engagement, GCS ensures that clients receive a custom training solution by identifying the courses they need and the number of training seats required. Once the purchasing process is complete, they go through an onboarding process with the GCS team.

Clients can then register on their own or use the company’s support team to get started with the training system. After the registration is completed, each employee can log in to their accounts and access Gamma Compliance Solutions’ catalog of dynamic multimedia courses. The training programs also include assessments to ensure training comprehension. After every course, the learners receive a certificate of completion. While employees can leverage these interactive training modules, their managers and other leaders can monitor their progress via the training system’s manager dashboards.

GCS serves thousands of clients ranging from enterprises, multi-state practice groups to local family practices. Recently, a national advanced cosmetic surgery group approached the company to train more than 500 employees. They needed their training instance to reflect the multiple departments in their company and to be scalable to match their rapid growth. GCS was able to mirror their organizational hierarchy within its training system that supports custom training group builds. What’s more? The company’s easy onboarding process enabled the client to continually add to their training roster 24/7.

Such instances of client success always drive GCS to explore new avenues of growth. In fact, the company is continuously improving its compliance materials based on the feedback, reviews, and testimonials from clients. This unwavering dedication to adding more value to healthcare practices has earned GCS the Academy of General Dentistry national approval to issue continuing education credits in dentistry for its online courses.

We seek to continuously improve the compliance experience for our clients so that they can focus on what they do best – serving their patients

GCS also has several new projects in the pipeline targeted toward assisting healthcare providers, including continuing medical education credits, sexual harassment training, infection control training, and fraud waste and abuse training. “We seek to continuously improve the compliance experience for our clients so that they can focus on what they do best – serving their patients,” concludes Kappil.
